This piece was included in our June 2019 show "Call and Response". The show was an opportunity for the stitchers at Fort Lonesome to attempt to translate the work of several artists working in many different medias into chainstitch embroidery.

About "Call and Response" - A collection of embroidered interpretations of works originally created in a multitude of media by artists we love. We took the artwork they created and figured out how we'd translate their design in their preferred media into our (sometimes) preferred media, chainstitch embroidery.
