Up-cycled Denim Patch Banner
We've long had folks searching for a way to display their patch collections - not everybody wants to adorn their wardrobe with embroidery! Some of you (us) would prefer to build a tactile, 3 dimensional memory palace you can interact with daily.
A personalized textile alter to show off your:
-national park patch collection
-enamel pins from all the shows you saw at Shoreline Amphitheater in the 80’s
-buttons you saved from the dress your mom is wearing in the prom photo where you see her with her date and it makes you wonder about alternate universes and quantum physics.
-baton twirling ribbons from when your team went to Nationals and did a routine to Devo’s Whip it where you threw your baton up, did a cartwheel and then caught it.
-Ft Lonesome patches natch
-Your first attempt at hand chain-stitching your own patch from the Ft Lonesome Transfer kit.
Our banners are constructed using reclaimed vintage denim saved from the landfill- all cut and pieced in house, and built to showcase the texture and patina embodied in the fabric, born of time and labor, each as unique as you are.
We wanted these to be beautiful and meaningful either left as is, or throughly personalized with whatever your weird and wonderful life wants to spill out upon them.
2 banner designs - Quilt Square and Sun - we're excited to share. Each is one of a kind, and are 24"x 24" square. Let us select one for you, and we can't wait to see you use them.
